Visitor and Worker Orientations reinforce ENMAX's commitment to environment, health and safety, personal accountability, and the importance of adhering to procedures and processes while being aware of potential hazards.

ENMAX Contractor Orientations are valid for the indicated calendar year and are required to be renewed annually. They expire at the end of each calendar year.

ENMAX office and service facilities have a specific required Contractor Orientation online course that provides an overview of operations, hazards, muster points and safety equipment locations. All contract personnel at ENMAX’s office and service facilities are required to complete the Contractor Orientation prior to arrival and sign in.

The Contractor Orientation provides an overview of ENMAX's environment, and health and safety expectations and procedures. The program is valid at ENMAX Place, Field Service Depot and South Service Centre

(Please note -THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT ORIENTATION FOR ENMAX ENERGY FACILITIES)

Personnel engaged in work activities both inside and outside of administration areas are required to complete the Contractor Orientation before building access is granted and work begins.  All contractors arriving on site must sign in with security and present a completed Orientation QR code to receive a visitor pass.  When work is complete contractors must then sign out prior to leaving site.

All work is approved by Building Operations and Building Services personnel prior to starting work.

Ensure your orientations are up to date and discuss your work scope with Building Operations and Building Services personnel to mitigate risk of an incident. Workers are required to provide valid training certificates for applicable work scopes.
